Inanimate transformation fetishism, sometimes called objectification transformation or INANIMATE TF, is a niche sub-category of transformation fetishism focused on fantasies of living people being transformed into non-living objects. Common transformation targets include furniture, clothing, statues, dolls, sex toys, household objects, and various other inanimate items. The fetish exists entirely in the realm of fantasy and creative fiction.

The psychological appeal of inanimate transformation draws on themes of objectification taken to a literal extreme, complete loss of agency and autonomy, and the experience of being used in a purely functional capacity. For the transformed person, the fantasy involves surrendering not just control but their very humanity — becoming an object that exists solely for another's use or pleasure.
