Fisting

Fisting, also known as handballing or fist insertion, is a sexual practice in which one partner gradually inserts their entire hand into the other partner's vagina (vaginal fisting) or rectum (anal fisting). Despite its name, the hand is not typically formed into a fist during insertion; rather, the fingers are held together in a tapered shape to allow gradual entry, and the hand may naturally curl into a fist once fully inside.

The practice requires extensive preparation and patience. Adequate lubrication is essential, as is a gradual progression from fewer fingers to the full hand over the course of minutes or longer. The receiving partner must be relaxed and in control of the pace, as forcing entry can cause serious injury. Many practitioners engage in warm-up activities and use generous amounts of body-safe lubricant throughout the process.
